About King Agag

The Great Samuel Kills King Agag for the 3rd Time
Religion has always been a major player in my life. I was born into a religious family, secluded from those who did not share our beliefs and even told I should be a good little Christian by my couldn't-be-bothered-to-go-to-church mother so that when God killed her for not being good enough it wouldn't be in vain.

When I turned ten I had reached the end of my tether. The bible and the religious teachings were burdensome, inconsistent and slavish. It didn't make sense to me. So I told my parents who then told me I was only saying such things because I was under the influence of demons! A few horrifying stories later and voilĂ  I was petrified into being a good follower again.

I actually convinced myself it was all true for a while. I'd ignore the bits that didn't make sense. But then I grew up, realised faith wasn't a virtue and read books that made more sense than any religious teaching.

I despise religion for the harm it causes. I'm atheist and anti-theist. I find fulfilment in real scientific reasonable answers.
